Intern Spotlight: Ellis Walker

When I’m not working at New Altitude, my favorite place to be is at home with my family and pets. I come from a big family, and being with them always makes me feel happy, relaxed, and supported. We enjoy the simple things such as sharing meals, talking about our day, and laughing together. There is always love, noise, and a lot of laughter, which makes home feel warm and welcoming.My pets are also a huge part of my life. I have four in total, but my favorite is my Boxer, whose playful and loyal personality never fails to brighten my day. It greets me with so much excitement every time I walk through the door. I also have a horse named Sliver, a beautiful palomino. Caring for Sliver has taught me responsibility, and I love spending time riding and bonding with such a strong yet gentle animal.

Being surrounded by my family and pets reminds me of what truly matters. They bring me joy, comfort, and a strong sense of belonging. Home is not just a place to rest. It is where I can reconnect, laugh often, and truly be myself.
