Connection & Collaboration

Intern Spotlight:

Evie Larson

Evie brings together two forms of expression that feel equally close to home, poetry and cooking. Through her words and her recipes, she invites us into moments of reflection, creativity, and comfort. Whether she’s crafting a thoughtful verse or sharing a dish made with care, Evie’s work is rooted in connection, storytelling, and the simple joy of creating something meaningful.

Intern Spotlight:

Caden Fifield

My experience with art began at age six while building Legos, where I learned creativity and imagination beyond the following instructions. As I grew older, I explored drawing and coloring, improving through practice and enjoying the process more over time. In middle school, I took art classes and learned techniques like shading using pencils, painting and crayons and chalk. In high school, I expanded into ceramics and worked with clay and pottery wheels. By my senior year, I returned to drawing, painting, and ceramics in visual arts. As an autistic student, art helps me express myself and has become an important part of who I am.
